PACKAGING DETAILS - Jinye Orange Peel Wine -    JINYE ORANGE PEEL A brand of orange peel that originated in the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty During the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1850), Li Jinye, aged just 18, experienced severe gastrointestinal discomfort upon arriving in Malaysia. He quickly discovered that drinking tea made from orange peel from his hometown alleviated his symptoms. Later, he noticed that many other new immigrants had similar issues. To help his compatriots, he instructed his family in Xinhui, China, to send more orange peel. In Malaysia, he established the "Jinyue Brand" to distribute this peel to the local Chinese community. The peel gained popularity for its medical benefits, and the brand eventually became well-known. Later, Li also developed a health tonic using the orange peel, which similarly achieved success. As Li grew older, he returned to his hometown and emphasized the importance of passing down the business to future generations. Today, the brand is in its sixth generation, with Li Qingliang as the current inheritor.
